Victoria Forrest

Victoria Forrest is a graphic designer and publisher with an international reputation, renowned for her innovative, inclusive designs and distinctive simple, and elegant style. working at the intersection of print culture and emerging technologies. Her practice explores how stories move: across pages, across platforms, and across generations.

She collaborates with award-winning photographers, artists, curators, and editors to design a wide range of portfolio pieces, from monographs for individual artists to immersive publications for publishing houses, museums, galleries to international charities, and organizations.

Trained in Graphic Design at the University of the Arts (First Class BA Hons) and in Communication Art & Design at the Royal College of Art, London, Victoria’s work is rooted in the traditions of book arts and fine art publishing. Her print designs and publications have earned international acclaim, and have been featured by the BBC, The Bookseller, The British Journal of Photography, and D&AD.

As Director of VIKA Books, the UK’s first XR publisher, she extends the language of the photobook into new formats — designing Connected Books® that integrate print, sound, moving image and interactive media. Her approach does not seek to replace the printed page, but to explore how narrative can expand beyond it while retaining the intimacy and discipline of print.

Supported by networks including InnovateUK and CreativeUK, Victoria has been named Women in Innovation Ambassador, D&AD Future Impact Winner, TechWomen 100, Creative Industry Council’s ‘Ones to Watch,’ and Great British Entrepreneur of the Year (Creative Industries). These accolades reflect not only innovation in book design, but also sustained commitment to excellence in publishing and cultural contribution.

At the centre of her practice is a simple belief: photography is a language shaped by craft, dialogue and context. Whether designing a printed monograph or an immersive digital publication, her work begins with the image, and the responsibility of telling your story with clarity and care.
