Welcome to VIKA

VIKA designs books and brands that showcase the work of the artists and organisations of the future. VIKA combine the conceptual rigour of graphic arts, the high production values of fine art publishing with the dynamism of creative technologies.

Founded by graphic designer, Victoria Forrest, VIKA work with companies, galleries, institutions and individuals to tailor elegant and innovative designs to each book’s unique narrative. Victoria has won many international awards for distinctive and innovative print designs, and is gaining further reputation for cutting-edge, immersive publications that blur the boundaries between real and virtual formats. Designs have been featured by the BBC, The Bookseller, Design Week, TechSpark, VR Focus and The British Journal of Photography.

Founder and CEO

Victoria Forrest has a First Class BA in Graphics from the University of the Arts, and an MA in Communication Art & Design from the Royal College of Art, London. Victoria founded VIKA Books to create innovative, quality fine art publications enhanced by creative technologies.

In 2022, Victoria won Innovate UK’s prestigious Women in Innovation Award for her work on the future the book. She is also Great British Entrepreneur of the Year for Creative Industries, the UK’s TechWomen100, the Creative Industry Council’s ‘Ones to Watch and part of the Digital Catapult investment portfolio. Further endorsements range from Best Fine Art Publisher and Outstanding Entrepreneurship to D&AD Impact, International Business ‘Stevie’ Award, and National Technology Awards.
